The short version: all of your learning data is processed and stored on your phone. This page turns that principle into concrete product rules.

Our rules
- Stored on your phone. Your voice data, transcripts, AI conversations, progress, vocabulary, and settings stay on your device.
- No hidden telemetry. We do not add advertising, behavioural analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs.
- No content for model training. Your voice, transcripts, and conversations are not used to train Rüebli or third-party AI models.
- Minimum permissions. The microphone is active only during speaking lessons.
- Honest updates. If the architecture changes, we update this policy before making broader use of data.
Your controls
The microphone is active only while you are taking part in a speaking lesson. Its audio and resulting transcript are processed and stored on your phone and are never sent to Rüebli. You can deny or revoke microphone access through device settings. You can remove local learning data using available app or device controls, and uninstalling removes the app’s local storage subject to any device backup.
This plain-language commitment complements the more detailed Privacy Policy. If the two appear inconsistent, the Privacy Policy describes the formal processing details.
